Outing with the girls | Jibby & Co.

Now playing: Houdini - Foster The People

This is my first outing with my friends since my sem break started
and I swear it feels weird to talk to people after being away from them for 3 months.

We met at Jibby & Co yesterday as Jamie drove the both of us there.
Got a little confused with Waze (not surprised).
When we arrived, Pris and Janice were already there
and I felt so underdressed.
I only wore T-shirt and jeggings with sandals but oh well.

Jibby & Co seemed like a nice place when I walked in.
But as I walked up the stairs, I felt a little insecure,
as if the stairs is going to collapse anytime soon although there wasn't a single creak.

The menu was already laid on the table when I approached the table
and I can honestly say that I have never took so much time staring the menu.
Even after Yenice had arrive, I was still indecisive.

After we ordered our food, I started to feel warmer and warmer.
The air cond was on, but it was still warm enough to make all of us sweat.
It was pretty sunny outside, but it's a total greenhouse on the inside.
Not to mention that downstairs was as noisy as the market.

Pris's food was the first to arrive,
cause the hungry girl ordered their Casablanca Eggs.
She's still having breakfast even though it's already 1pm.

I ordered their Shredded Duck and I liked it.
I chose linguini after everyone selecting spaghetti
and linguini's good.
Semi-sudried tomatoes, shredded duck, rockets and spinach.
I was eating happily until I chewed sand.
Nevertheless, I still finished the dish.

Jamie ordered their Basil Pesto.
And yes, the star of this dish was actually the mushroom.
Every bite you take and there will be basil.
Though the basil doesn't give a slap in the face,
but there's still basil.

Yenice ordered their Tiger Prawn and Blue Swimmer Crab.
The portion is probably the biggest amongst the pastas we ordered.
Strong taste in tomato and cream,
and we agreed with Yenice that it'll give us high cholesterol after eating this.
One tiger prawn and 7 regular prawn, Yenice counted.
The crab was hidden in the sauce.

Janice ordered their Smoked Salmon pizza yes, it smells as good as it looks.
I didn't have a bite because I'm afraid that I might not be able to finish my own food.

Komugi's Mango Mousse cake that Yenice bought.
This cake was a little surprise for Jamie's belated and Janice's upcoming birthday.

Jamie and her photography skills.
(We're just lucky because no one was seating there.)

Because Priscilla insisted on placing the gifts on the table.

Photo taken at Coffee Beans before Pris left.
And no one cared how I looked. *sighs*

Why were we at Coffee Beans?
Because Jibby & Co wanted to charge us RM30 for service
for bring cake from outside.
I thought it was okay, but they said that we'll just find another spot.
Things got a little frustrating just because of the cake.
When we asked for the cake,
they gave us the wrong candle.
When we asked for the box,
they took forever.
I don't really blame them because it was raining very heavily
and it was rather loud if you sit upstairs.
But I find it funny that they heard it right on the first time when we asked for the bill.

I'm sorry to say that it would be my last time going
to Jibby & Co again because
1. It's actually pretty hard to get there
2. The food served wasn't specifically special
3. Their service was just A-ok.
