I tried out The Red Beanbag at Publika for the first time today with mum and her friends.
I don't usually go there, and it's only the second restaurant I've tried in Publika.
I don't have much to say about it,
other than the food I had.
The service is good, people were friendly.
The ambience is alright,
where I sat wasn't the best but it was okay.
Since it is a Tuesday,
there weren't much people there for brunch,
but when it's about 1pm,
it's starting to get a little crowded even though it's a Tuesday.
I had Sumo (from The Dark Side of the menu) and Granny's Garden for tea.
It was a rather interesting dish,
and I'd say it was a good dish for brunch.
The poached egg and hollandaise sure is breakfast for me,
but the salmon and the spinach kinda makes it lunch.
I'd give it an 8 out of 10.
Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of poached eggs,
so it's rather hard for me to finish it all.
The tea has an acquired taste.
The description said it is a mix of strawberries and rhubarbs,
and I'd just say it tastes like rhubarb,
not so much on the berries.
However, it's still acceptable.
Mum had their Super Awesome Fry-Up.
And they ordered an additional Skyscraper.
FLUFFY PANCAKES!
Not bad at all, I'd say.
And of course, they just had to,
and I'm there, so yeah.
Behold, 1600 pandas.
